Climb Higher Colorado (CHC) represents a coalition of trusted partners who work together to elevate student, family, and community priorities in improving Colorado’s educational ecosystem.
CHC facilitates collaboration with policy makers, advocacy groups, education institutions, educators, families and students because this is how systems level change happens best. In addition to the convening of organizations, CHC works one-on-one with partners to increase their own organizational capacity.
Whether it’s strengthening trust at monthly partnership convenings to level set on policy or coaching school districts and CMO’s on high impact family engagement, CHC builds the space for diverse organizations and people to create adaptive solutions for Colorado’s most complex education challenges.
Areas of Focus
We create and facilitate a space where organizations and individuals can build trust, align efforts, and strengthen Colorado’s education ecosystem. We do this through events such as an annual issues assembly summit, monthly coalition meetings, trainings, and issue-specific projects.
We invest in the capacity of our community facing partners to ensure they have the supports, resources, and access to drive systems change. Primary vehicles for support include quarterly convenings of these partners and leading a year-long Systems Impact Institute centered on understanding power, policy, and planning.
We advise and train schools, districts, and CMOs to facilitate academic partnership and leadership with the families they serve. We do this by hosting strategic planning sessions with leadership and community members and offering technical assistance through trainings and one-on-one coaching for staff on high-impact family engagement strategies.
